Phillippe Thunis

Philippe Thunis tiene experiencia en física. Es líder de proyecto en el Centro Común de Investigación de la Comisión Europea, con sede en Ispra, Italia. Pertenece a la Unidad de Aire y Clima dentro de la Dirección de Energía, Transporte y Clima. Philippe Thunis lleva trabajando en el campo del modelado de la calidad del aire y el modelado de evaluación integrada durante más de 20 años. Actualmente preside la red europea FAIRMODE con el objetivo de armonizar las prácticas de modelado de la calidad del aire en toda Europa.

Philippe Thunis has a background in Physics. He is project Leader at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, based in Ispra, Italy. He belongs to the Air and Climate Unit within the Directorate for Energy, Transport and Climate. Philippe Thunis is working in the field of air quality modelling and integrated assessment modelling for more than 20 years. He is currently chairing the European FAIRMODE network aiming at harmonizing air quality modelling practices across  Europe.
